Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing or using CallScrib (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

The Service automatically generates AI-powered summaries of Microsoft Teams meetings and phone calls using transcript data provided by the Microsoft Graph API. Summaries are delivered as Adaptive Cards to your Teams chats.

3. Plans

• Free plan — 10 conversations per month
• Pro — $9.99/user/month, unlimited conversations
• Business — $14.99/user/month, CRM sync and coaching insights

Plan upgrades and billing are managed through our website, not within Teams.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service to record or transcribe conversations without proper consent from all participants
• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
• Share, resell, or redistribute the Service without authorization

5. Recording Consent

You are responsible for ensuring that all participants in your meetings and calls are aware that transcription is enabled and that AI summaries will be generated.

Microsoft Teams displays a recording/transcription consent banner to participants. The Service processes only transcripts from conversations where Microsoft's consent mechanism was active.

Two-party consent states (California, Florida, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Washington, and others) and jurisdictions with similar laws require consent from all parties. You must comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws regarding recording consent.

6. Data Ownership

You retain full ownership of your transcripts and conversation data. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. AI-generated summaries are provided as a service output and are yours to use as you see fit.

7. AI-Generated Content

Summaries are generated by artificial intelligence and may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. Always verify AI-generated summaries before acting on them. We are not liable for decisions made based on AI-generated content.

8. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through our website. Upon cancellation, you will retain access until the end of your current billing period. Your data will be retained for 90 days after cancellation, after which it will be permanently deleted.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
